Laughter

Whew! I finished the 3 rounds for the NKOTB challenge! Though i felt that my layouts are not that good enough compared to other challengers, it was more than a good experience to have increased your knowledge in this craft by simply taking up the challenge itself. And i'm very thankful for DSP, for giving such a good venue to hone my digiscrapping skill.
Well, here's my third layout for the challenge--using other shapes for frames:

Funny Faces

It's been so long, kinda busy with work :( Anyway, got an invite from Digital Scrapbook Place to join their regular digiscrap challenge for newbies like me and i tried my luck once again.

Using Celebrate Life's Moment Welcome Kit from DSP:
These are the two versions i have submitted:

And this is the final version for round 1, changes were made in consideration of the comments of fellow challengers in the New Kids on the Block (NKOTB 14):

My Hubby's New Girl

Yeah, you read it right! My hubby’s got his new girl by the name of CHERY, the girl from China. She is so cute, looks comfy, good looking, so cheery with a ready smiling face and quite striking as she really attracts other men when she’s out on the runway.

Hey, it’s the smiling car--QQ3 1.1 Sedan, Nasdaq Silver from Chery Iseway Motors. ;o) LOL! Hubby just got the Cheery Chery last Friday, 11 July 2008.

Though nearly everyone have so much angst among Chinese cars due to its reliability and resilience, for us we find it practical to have this car for several simple reasons. One, we will no longer endure the long queue for cabs whenever we go out/short travel or we shop for our weekly food stuffs/personal effects/grocery, plus we have our super playful toddler; second, its brand new (with 5-years warranty) and cheap (compared to other sub-/compact cars) and our budget can afford ONLY this kind of car; third, fuel efficient especially for city driving; and fourth, his X (short for his Honda XRM motorcycle) could only ferry me and hubby minus AJ to-and-fro our destinations. Well, we’re just happy to finally have her than none at all, and it’s our first!

Hard to skip these photos of Hubby, Son and Chery to scrap!
